At Enlighten our goal and passion is to shine God’s Light on those facing mental health challenges to brighten their lives with His help, hope, and healing. We are also eager to share compassion with those who care for family and friends. We welcome you to be a part of our caring community that continues to work together for better care and healing for all who face mental illness.
Current research reveals that one out of every four adults and one out of every five youth will experience mental illness as a part of their lives. This translates to over 200,000 people in Ventura County alone! Though this number is staggering, there is genuine hope and help.
Enlighten Mental Health Ministry is for individuals and families affected by mental health problems. We also desire to encourage churches and their leaders to promote mental health as part of our whole and spiritual lives.
The Enlighten Mental Health Ministry was started through the vision of Chinese Christian Church of Thousand Oaks.
