FAMILY HOPE
Our Family Hope Support Group (formerly called Caregivers of the Mentally Ill or COMI) meets every 2nd and 4th Monday of the month from 7:30 – 9:00 PM. We will be meeting virtually. Please e-mail us for the meeting ID and link.
We offer a support group twice a month for anyone who would like to receive comfort and encouragement. The purpose of this support group is to share our stories and struggles, to give and receive comfort along with encouragement, and to receive God’s peace and hope. Our aim is to have a more positive, joyful life despite the challenges of mental illness. It is a safe place to share and listen.
Anyone in the Conejo Valley and beyond who has a family member or friend facing mental challenges is invited to come to COMI.
The format of our group includes some or all of these at each meeting:
- Prayer
- Devotional
- Educational Component
- Sharing Time: Most of our group time is spent on sharing our stories, experiences, etc.

Family Hope Support Group Testimonial
“A safe place to talk and explain your difficult situation with a mentally ill person in your life! You learn how to deal with every day stresses by listening to others who are all struggling in a similar way, and you feel you are not alone. It is also a way to learn to always present Our Heavenly Father with your prayers, your fears, and anxieties in all situations and pray for His healing and interventions. You will come to know that God knows what you are going through, and He is with you always! It will give you Peace!!”
